Anime distribution group ADV Films has scheduled the release of Shinji Aramaki's 'Appleseed' (2005). An action film guided by motion-capture animation and computer graphics, 'Appleseed' offers anime fans a healthy dose of good 'ol fashioned science fiction, notably produced with 21st century technology. ADV's release of the anime film is scheduled for June 2009.
