A free-to-use online animated dictionary for deaf children went live last December, following several months of development. Guided by the Canadian Cultural Society of the Deaf, ASLphabet.com currently houses one hundred terms/words and their definition, providing both animated and video examples. Participating non-profit groups hope to expand the site to include as many as 1500 dictionary terms.
