Directed by Ralph Bakshi, and with backgrounds by Richard Raynis, the animated movie 'The Lord of the Rings' (1978) is earning a new home video release from Warner Home Video -- re-mastered and available on standard DVD and Blu-ray. This tale of one hobbit's adventure was memorably accented with rotoscope animation and attention to detail. A thirty-minute Bakshi interview will be a video extra.
